The Structures team are responsible for the inspection, construction and maintenance of major Brisbane River crossings such as the Iconic Story Bridge and other waterways structures, which includes around 4,000 road and pedestrian bridges, culverts and jetties.
Mt. Lindesay Highway Upgrade
As part of the project’s detailed design phase, Department of Transport and Main Roads completed a Road Traffic Noise Assessment (RTNA). Based on the recommendations from the RTNA, TMR will provide appropriate noise attenuation treatments (such as noise barriers) to reduce noise levels below the appropriate noise criteria.

Strategy: Working with Red Marble to position the company as the leaders of AI in construction, Struber implemented its tried and tested Golden 10 stakeholder mapping to identify the key players in the industry and request their insights into this innovative technology.

Strategy includes: To deliver cost and time efficiencies in promotion, delivery and to reduce confusion with messaging, Struber advised to host south first, immediately followed by north engagement. Both areas were launched together, and the in-person engagement was finalised prior to COVID-19 restrictions, ensuring the project reporting and planning remain on time. Struber undertook detailed stakeholder mapping to identify key community connectors and influencers to broaden reach of the survey
Kingswood Golf Course (Dingley Village)
Struber developed a three-phase long-term strategy to achieve legitimacy and credibility for our client’s residential development proposal. We worked closely with our client to roll out the first phase. Our approach was designed to take the community through the social license journey, moving from rejection to legitimacy and credibility.
Mordialloc Freeway
Struber focused on establishing internal relationships within the JV and project teams, while also concentrated on the community and stakeholders to deliver successful communication and engagement activities.

Department of Transport and Main Roads had managed property resumptions along the corridor, and Struber’s focus was to support and continue to build on these relationships by supporting the one-on-one, in person engagement focus with directly affected businesses and properties.

Struber developed the strategy, tactics, and risk management approach to encourage community involvement and feedback to inform the development of the preliminary designs for the five ferry terminal upgrades.
