The North East Link (NEL) is a 26–kilometre tolled motorway – which is the biggest ever investment in Melbourne’s North-East – changing the way people move around Victoria’s capital.
NEL will be delivered via the largest Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in Australian history. SPARK Consortium is contracted to finance, design, construct, maintain and operate the NEL Primary Package.
As a multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in infrastructure programs and projects, Struber has been engaged to support the Spark NEL consortium at different stages of the project lifecycle and across different service streams including Creative and Digital, Stakeholder and community engagement, our unique Critical Start-Up service, Tender and bid management, Culture and team services, Communications tools and tactics, UDLP submission support and more.
Once completed, the North East Link project will connect the missing link in the city’s freeway network to take 15,000 trucks off local roads a day, slash travel times by up to 35 minutes and bypass 18 traffic lights on a trip to Melbourne Airport.
