South Road is a key east-west transport corridor in Melbourne’s south with around 40,000 vehicles using South Road every day. In order to reduce congestion and improve travel times, several key intersections on South Road between Nepean Highway and Warringal Road are required to be upgraded.

Toowoomba Regional Council endorsed its Green Infrastructure Strategy in late 2019 and formed a group to oversee the strategy implementation and embed these principles into Business as Usual for Council.

The facilitation investment was executed with the goal of establishing an integrated, collaborative team to deal with key project delivery matters through common values and behaviours, commitment to jointly shared risk management and maintenance of quality internal communication.
