Struber has been involved in the production of the QLDMPP report for several years and for the 2020 edition we were presented with a challenge (and we love a challenge): the annual report is a valuable and appreciated resource for the industry, but it begins losing relevance within months of release. We needed to make the report relevant year-round.
The strategy employed was a digital-first production model that is easily maintained and built upon. This maintains relevance by being easily updated as government announcements and economic pressures impact the pipeline outlook. Which means that QMCA and IAQ have a reliable source of truth to reference year-round.
Day one website traffic increased 10x and returning users increased 431% compared to previous years’ launches.
This work took on three key challenges. The first, update the brands language and visual direction to accommodate the required agility. The second, develop an approach to artwork that lets the data tell its own story. And finally, building the digital platform.
