"Thankful to everyone in Struber who supported the Moonee Ponds Creek project and helped achieve great results."

The community engagement program was divided into two phases.
- Phase one aimed to understand how the community uses the space, what future improvements the community would like to see and interpreting how those findings could enhance the space and useability.
- During phase two, three concepts were presented for the community to select their preferred option.
Struber’s tactics across the two phases, reverting all planned in-person activities to digital, included:
- Created two online surveys
- Facilitation of stakeholder meetings and community information sessions with local groups, schools and the project team
- Development of an interim engagement report for phase 2 engagement followed by a detailed report including all engagement Struber conducted in the project.
- Preparation of social media content for Melbourne Water’s social media channels, including Facebook
There was significant support for both concept designs B and C.
Survey respondents highlighted improvements and recommendations for the shared use path.
This included feedback of biodiversity in the area and channel upgrades that the community believed would result in an improved recreational experience for locals.
