Designing and delivering an Engagement Plan that incorporates Council’s framework and the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2)

Struber designed and deliver an Engagement Plan that incorporates Council’s framework and the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) which aims to involve key stakeholders in design inputs, before launching information about the project and its benefits across multiple communication platforms for affected and interested community members.

Struber:

• Coordinated and facilitated two workshops to develop the project’s vision and goals, identify key stakeholders, and to seek feedback on design concerns and opportunities from key industry stakeholders.
• Undertook detailed research of key stakeholders and sentiment to inform engagement plan development.
• Identified key stakeholders to engage and involve in the concept design to progress project support and buy-in.
• Developed a range of communication material including public display material, direct mail, factsheets, posters, electronic direct mail and social media content to build understanding and anticipation about the project

By organising and facilitating key stakeholder consultation through an online platform during COVID-19 restrictions, the project was progressed to detailed design, ensuring project timeframes were maintained.
