Struber implemented the first four phases of its 7-step methodology, which included:
- Inception – one-on-one interviews with leaders from the three PPP partners
- Discover – review internal documents and interview findings to identify risks, challenges and opportunities
- Direction – develop a recommendations report to further develop internal communications and culture, including a workshop with leaders to agree an action plan to move forward
- Discover – facilitate a Team Charter workshop, meet with nominated internal connectors and develop a roadmap and supporting collateral to launch and embed the Team Charter in the internal culture.
With COVID-19 restrictions in place, the Team Charter was launched via a virtual Project Update, attended by 70% of the project team and 100% of the leadership team.
Across the four-phases, Struber’s tactics included:
- One-on-one leader interviews.
- Findings and recommendations report.
- Fireside chat workshop with leaders to progress priority actions.
- Team Charter workshop, including preparing vision and values statements.
- Meeting with team connectors to develop and progress Team Charter launch and ongoing implementation across the team.
- Facilitated a Project Update and Team Charter launch, held virtually as a result of COVID-19 restrictions.
- Developed collateral to launch and promote the Team Charter to the broader team including posters, desk cards, pull-up banners, digital assets, presentations, induction packs, project update templates, and monthly values awards.
The project has a Team Charter that celebrates the contributions and values of each PPP partner, while providing a central guide for how the broader project team works together and contributes to delivering essential infrastructure for Queensland.
